Horse Carving Problem

Argh… Having a bit of problem trying to carve my 2nd horse.

Hard to get the proportion anatomically correct.

More Horses Coming…

Oh yeah. I need to do more wax carving. That is good… Things to do while filling in all this waiting time.

Yum. Sweet and sour pork with rice for dinner.

Wax Horse

Spent four days carving a wax horse, I must say that I’m pretty proud of the work.
I’ll try to finish it later today!

Dry Well

Whoa… After 9 months of drought and drinking from the one well, it’s finally dried up. -Sigh-

Toilet

When will it be the day when every toilet is equipped with a water source to clean yourself with?

Bird Whistling

Was walking on the street just now, when I heard this bird chirping right behind me.

I ignored it.

But when it persisted, I looked behind.

It was an uncle pushing a trolley, trying to overtake me.

…

Why can’t he simply speak in human?
I’m sure it’s more efficient.

Phone Blogging

Yeah. Downloaded an app on my phone so I can blog on the go.

Nothing much to rant about actually…

Well, baby nephew knows how to walk by himself now. So cute, walking around the place.
He likes to come into my room and mess with my laptop though, so now the door to my room is usually closed.

Working on any jewellery lately?
Trying to make some resin charms and keychains. Will post some photos when they’re more presentable.

Uneven Tan

Been going out a lot lately, to take pictures under the raging sun.

Got quite a bit of a tan.

But unfortunately, what the sun couldn’t shine on, the sun couldn’t tan.
So now, my body has two skin tones.

My legs especially, are rather fair.
So when I rest my elbows on my knees, the contrast between the two is pretty obvious.

I’m thinking of going to a swimming pool and suntan everything out evenly.
But I’m a bit embarrassed about showing my two toned body.

Baby Nephew’s One Year Old!

Happy Birthday, Baby Nephew!

So cute.

Tired, But Happy.

Never knew that taking photographs can be such an intense workout.

Though tired, I’m still happy that I’m finally doing something.
Got the giant ball rolling for a start, at least.

Let’s see how far this ball can keep on rolling.

 

Baby Nephew is walking pretty well without his walker, as long as he’s holding onto somebody.
In fact, he only dare to move forward if there’s something/someone for him to hold on.

A couple of weeks back, he didn’t need much erm… Safety measurement before he ventures forth on his own, only to fall into someone’s arms.
And then he had a rather bad fall which gave him this little bump on his forehead which subsided into a nasty bruise.
Guess the fall also took away his courage for any further attempt to walk on his own.
